Pois, ontem foi dia de Pearl Jam Versão 3 em Lisboa para mim.

Excelente concerto, excelente público (embora continuem a pensar que concertos são jogos do Euro2004...), PÉSSIMO som :(

Para o pessoal que foi comigo, entre os 26 e os 34 anos, achamos que fomos os "Elderly Guys behind that counter in a (not that) small town" :) A faixa etária que segue uma das minhas bandas favoritas anda a diminuir. O que não deixa de ser mau, pois prova que continuam a cativar gerações mais novitas.

Dos 3 concertos que tive o privilégio de assistir, este foi, infelizmente, o "menos bom". O som estava realmente terrível. Never the less, o esforço do Eddie foi muito apreciado. A set list foi muito boa também, apenas, na minha opinião faltando um "Dissident" e um "Porch".

Depois de 2 horas e 45 minutos de muita adrenalina, esforço e diversão não sei bem que concerto espera os outros 20.000 que têm bilhete para hoje... Espero que apanhem melhor som, mas que se divirtam como nós ontem.

Das músicas é dificil realçar uma ou outra, mas o "Alive", que é sempre especial, foi tocada como sempre com muito sentimento... Houve uma altura em que o Eddie se pôs em cima da coluna. Eu o Ed e o Pastilhas olhámos uns para os outros e sem trocar palavras pensámos o mesmo... "Será que se vai atirar como no Dramático em Cascais há uns 10 anos?"

PS - Estou agora a ouvir o CD do Restelo em 2000. Há 6 anos cantava-se menos "Portugal" como nos jogos de futebol.... Cantava-se o refrão do "Alive" no intervalo das músicas... até o Eddie responder "That's a great song... you do it well... I guess we dont have to do it then" :)
